An Older Mr. Fraser

I asked Chewin to make a queued wig for my mini Jamie back in the spring. I wanted to give him an older look more reminiscent of season 5 in the show. Due to all the parcel travel issues it was a while before Chewin was even able to mail it out of Thailand, and then once he did mail it it took quite a while to catch a flight. After 2 months and a few days, my package finally arrived today!!

I have to say it was worth the wait! It really does give Jamie a much older look than his curly wig (based on his look from the first season, shown on him in previous blog installments)

In the photos taken in the shade, the color looks more brown.

But in this profile photo, taken in sun, you can see the rich auburn color........just gorgeous, and perfect! I couldn't be more pleased. Now I'm going to work on getting a few more clothing pieces for him.

Some blue for Bree

I got a new package in the mail from my friend Robyn. She made a few skirts and vests for Bree. LOVE this blue on her. It really makes her eyes pop.

Robyn tweaked the vest pattern too to give a bit nicer fit at the waist. It turned out really lovely!

Sienna Red

I got this Iplehouse Sienna wig from a friend, and finally got around to trying it on Bree. 

Gotta say, its pretty perfect for her, for times when she has her hair down.

Adso 2.0

 I had bought the Iple grey/white petdoll kitty quite a while ago with intentions of him being Adso, but he was never a perfect fit. He was a little small, and I always saw Adso as full grey, not grey/white. (Pic below is Claire with Adso v.1)

I was trolling Denver Doll the other day looking at petdolls to use with my DT Elf girls, when I spotted a Zuzu delf kitty that was pure grey with stripes. Much more as I saw Adso in my head. I noted by his measurements that he was  a little bigger than the Iple Pet kitties, so ordered him hoping he might make a better Adso for my bigger Claire. He arrived yesterday and while his features are much more "anime" than needed to make him perfect for the role. I think he's still pretty darn cute.

If I'm creative with the angles so his eyes don't show in line with hers, I think he might work.

Nightmares and Truths

I've wanted to do a series of photos of Fergus with Claire for a while now, inspired by Season 2 of the TV show, the Faith episode...………..when Fergus wakes up with nightmares and Claire finally finds out the reasoning behind Jamie's fight with Black Jack. Geillis

As I was going through old pictures I realized I don't think I've ever posted pictures of my "Geillis" here. She is actually a doll I use in my "Black Dagger Brotherhood" world, but since I didn't use her that often in that capacity, I decided when I first decided to shell Outlander characters that she could do double duty as Geillis in the Outlander world. I have to say I do quite like her in this role and need to get her back out for some new pics.
